2. The fun choice: play the Drumlin putting course and head to bed with bragging rights and phones full of memories.
The Drumlin putting course at Erin Hills will act as a highly-visible centerpiece to a championship venue in the evening. Not simply because of its location (in full view of those dining, staying and playing), but because of the installation of custom, low-profile lighting that will illuminate the one-of-a-kind putting surface under the Wisconsin night sky.
Its primary purpose: fun.
In August 2019, Erin Hills revealed the Drumlin — where no two putts will break the same. It’s where scores will be settled, and competitive juices can continue to flow — just as the drinks will — long after sunset.

On a bluff high above the Columbia River Gorge the 100,000 square foot Cascade Putting Course is a wildly shaped, pure fescue putting course inspired by the ancient and famed Himalayas Putting Course at St Andrews. Laid out by Scottish Golf Course Architect David McLay Kidd, it allows golfers and non-golfers to enjoy the game together, a perfect spot for all the family. The course layout is regularly changed, don’t expect it to be benign or even fair, our aim is to hear hoops and hollers from every group!

Santee Cooper Country Club
Opened August 2019, the Palmetto Traverse putting course is a 35,000 square foot green designed for wild fun, with putts as long as 260 feet possible and over some of the most varied terrain you will ever see in a putting surface. The design is based on the Himalayas putting course at St. Andrews and designed by golf course architect and Donald Ross restoration specialist Kris Spence.
The complex — which was constructed using USGA sub-surface drainage and rootzone, and topped with a TifEagle Ultradwarf surface — also includes a pair of small bunkers within the surface area and a small central grassy island with a sitting area and landscaping. The internal contours include plateaus, terraces, swales, rolls, valleys, spines, and slopes that will provide abundant variety and challenging fun for players of all abilities – from beginners to the most seasoned golfers.

Streamsong Resort - The Chain
The Gauntlet is the ultimate in post round entertainment located just steps from the Black Clubhouse. The 1.2 acre putting course is set up for play each day with 18 different holes to test your putting skills over the undulations, peaks and valleys of the rolling terrain providing a fun and entertaining way to end your day at Streamsong Resort. The Glove bar at the Gauntlet, opened in January 2021, is the perfect stop during your putting match to get your favorite cocktails and specialty beers.
The Gauntlet is available to resort guests and public golfers on a first come first served basis and may also be rented exclusively for private events.

Wolf River Golf Park
The new putting course will be tucked away from the main course and have a separate cart path for easy access. Plans are to build the course on an elevated hill with breathtaking views of the property.
The location may eventually feature a small pavilion for music guests, as well as a bar or food & beverage cart. Guests will be able to relax with friends and a beverage and enjoy sounds and scenery late into the day when sunset paints the landscape in gold.
